She had already made up her mind that if the council did not do anything to Clark, she was going to make sure to be the one to give him what he deserved, even if that would land her in prison. 

The council members mumbled amongst themselves for a few minutes before the woman finally cleared her throat. “We have come up with a decision as to what to do. This is a case that is so much bigger and deeper than we could have ever imagined,” She began. 

She glanced at Mr. Clark and then at Selena. “We have agreed to have Selena and Mr. Clark demoted to the lowest rank possible, and they would also serve the rest of their lives in the pack’s prison.” 

“Death!” Someone from the crowd yelled. 

“Let them die! They don’t deserve to breathe the same air as us!” Another person from the crowd exclaimed. 

Selena blinked faster than normal for a few seconds because she was taken aback by the punishment. She was still handcuffed and her wrists were begi
