He may have died, but his love for Clary was going to live on and on. 

“No,” Clary said the word out in disbelief as tears filled her eyes, blinding her vision for a few seconds before she blinked and it cleared when the tears had fallen on her face. “No, no, no,” Her voice broke. 

She shifted back into her human form and rushed to Levi’s side, watching the blood gushing out of his chest. 

“Yuck,” Selena said as she chuckled, staring at the heart in her hand. She then dropped it to the floor and licked the blood that was on her hand. 

“Please…please, let this be a dream,” Clary began, her voice shaking as she pulled Levi’s dead body over her lap. She played with his hair and more tears flowed from her eyes freely. “No, god, no. You can’t die,” She sobbed. 

“Honey, he’s gone.
