Clary knew that that was just an excuse for Selena. Yeah, she cared about the pack, she was the Luna, but it was obvious that Selena did not want her carrying a child for Ace. She wanted to get rid of the child, simple as that. 

“You want to talk about being in the dark?” Clary began, in a tone that foretold that she was about to stir up a storm. “Let’s talk about how you have no idea that your baby was aborted,” Clary ripped the bandage off. 

Ace chuckled without humor. “What are you talking about? Which baby?” 

Clary saw that if she told him the truth about Selena and Mr. Clark making her abort the baby, it would not end well. And she did not want to ruin all the progress that Ace had made with his therapist.
