Celine looked at Bryan for a moment, her face still tense. "You were wrong, Bryan," she replied firmly. "I don't like being treated like that, especially in public."

Bryan nodded, admitting his mistake. "I understand. I just... I just wanted to show my feelings. But I didn't mean to hurt your feelings or make you angry."

Celine let out a long sigh. She was actually tired of all the drama tonight. "I guess I'd better go home now. Thank you for your time, Bryan. Let's talk about this another time."

Bryan bowed his head slightly, making way for Celine. "Sure. Again, I'm sorry. I hope you can forget about it."

Celine did not answer. She just turned around and walked towards her car, trying to calm her still chaotic mind.

When she got home, Celine took off her shoes carelessly and went straight to her room. However, the room felt deserted. She looked over at the bed, and Nico wasn't there. She frowned, feeling strange.
