Ginny’s POV
“Ugh… I was too late,” Hannah lamented, having just arrived. She was one of those to be interviewed.
“You could have caught up even if they’re gone. Your sister Gail and I are still here,” I smiled warmly, and Hannah’s eyes lit up as she spotted Gail. They embraced tightly, a reunion after years apart. I joined in the hug, feeling the warmth of rekindled friendships.
“I missed you, Ate Gail,” Hannah’s voice was filled with genuine affection as she held onto Gail. “I missed you too, Hannahpot,” Gail’s laughter was a symphony of shared memories, and I couldn’t help but join in with a heartfelt grin.
After the warm embrace, we settled into a nearby cafe, sipping our drinks and sharing stories of the years that had slipped by since Hannah’s return from Ilocos. The conversations were easy, as if no time had passed at all.
