Autumn’s POV

I don’t know what to say… I thought everything was in place. I thought I had them all back, but I’m wrong. I’m definitely wrong. I thought they would be happy when they found out I’m Selene… when they found out I returned for them.

But they are scared of Selene… they are scared of me. Why? Did I do something? How could they think that I am capable of doing bad things? Why do they think that I’m seeking revenge?

I have no intentions of hurting anyone; I just want my old life back. I just want them back in my life. But it seems they have different thoughts, and it seems they don’t want me back in their lives anymore.

I was gone for a day—I managed to have time for myself. While I was away, I pondered everything. What should I do? Should I come back, should I try to earn their trust again… but then I realized, nothing good will come out if I force myself into their lives against their will.
