Chapter 70
Third Person’s POV
Gail slowly entered a large house. She didn’t live here, but it seemed like she knew her way around as she headed straight to the kitchen to get some freshly baked cookies made by the housekeeper.
After grabbing some cookies, she walked into the living room and saw Steph embracing a man.
“Good job, Stephanie! You always impress me…” the man looked at Gail, “You’re here, Gail.”
“Uncle, that’s too much…” Gail nervously said, worried about what might happen. Steph had just killed someone—she was the one who shot and killed Autumn’s aunt, Lei.
“It’s just a bit of our revenge! Gail, you know what they did to our mother, right?” her uncle gave a meaningful look to Steph and then took her arm, “Follow your sister’s lead… soon we’ll be able to get back at the Taylor and Drake families. Are you going to give up now?”
“Yes, Ate… my God, I really believe now that we’re just half-sisters… because I’m not like you. I’m not paranoid,”
