Chapter 8

Evelyn Holder’s POV

I quickly took a shower and walked to my closet. I put a black dress with a white turtleneck on. I put on my black watch and black boots. I curled my hair loosely and put a little makeup on. I take my little black bag and put my wallet, phone, charger and lipstick on. I went downstairs and found my brother eating.

“Evan, where is dad?”

“He just left, he told me to give you this.” It’s a yellow post-it. I read it:

Princess, there’s a car outside for you to go to Alex’s office. Don’t forget tonight, there will be a party at 6.30.

Dad.

I smiled and sat with my brother. He’s eating cereal. I walked to the fridge and suddenly there’s my maid.

“Miss what do you want to eat?” She asked.

“Uhmm I just take the cereal-”

“We can make everything for you, toast? Omelet? Fried rice? Kimbap?” She asked,
