Abe’s POV

The sudden turn of events made us carry Elizabeth back to her house. Her mom was suddenly shocked by her daughter being attacked by a demon. She quickly grabbed an ancient book and tried to recite a chant—however, it didn’t matter how much she spoke, Elizabeth wasn’t showing signs of waking up.

I took her back to her room and laid her down on her bed to rest. I was just about leaving when I heard a weak moaning of someone just waking up from a slumber. I turned back, and to my surprise, Elizabeth had woken up after being attacked by a demon from hell.
