“Well, Greyson isn’t here!” Indianna snapped. “Sorry,” she said quickly and sighed. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to snap.”

“It’s fine.”

“I’ll talk to Rogue tonight,” Indianna said suddenly.

“Indie, are you—”

“I’ll persuade him not to hurt Janson’s pack if they agree to do what we are doing,” Indianna said. “Rogue will be in charge, but Janson will still be the Alpha.”

“Are you sure that’s wise?”

Indianna nodded. “I also need to find something out.”

“What?”

“My mother. She’s alive, but I need to know how alive she is.”

Ace frowned. “What do you mean?”

“Rogue didn’t kill her, but it doesn’t mean he didn’t do anything else to her.”

“I was told you didn’t care about Iris.”

“I don’t,” Indianna said hurriedly. “But she is my mother… I just need to know.”<
