Two Months Later

“ARGHGH!” I screeched, sending everything crashing off my desk. It had been two brutal months since Alex vanished from the pack, and no one had a lead. Wherever Matteo hid her, he’d fortified the place and kept it off the grid. My trackers on his Italian cabin reported it abandoned—dusty floors, empty rooms.

I still can’t remember Alex, and it’s driving me insane.
