Chapter 65. What We See Is Not What We Feel

"Sunbae, thank you so much for taking me home." Jae exited the car while continuing to thank Yeon Jin for driving him home.

"Do you want me to pick you up tomorrow to go to college?"

"I—I have nothing scheduled to go to college tomorrow. So, there's no need to pick me up, sunbae."

"Really? Do you have free time tonight?"

"Of course. Is there anything?"

"I want to take you out to dinner. If you don't mind, I'll pick you up later."

Jae was hesitant about Yeon Jin's invitation because she had been absent for two nights and had dinner at home. His parents would, of course, be distraught if he was gone continuously like that. But, if he didn't accept the offer, then he might make Yeon Jin angry.

"I'll ask my parents' permission first. Do you have a problem with that, Sunbae?"

"Of course not. I'll wait, you can contact me when you get permission."

"Thank you, Sunbae." Jae's words ended their meeting that day. He saw Yeon Jin
