Chapter 17. Her Business Idea

“I need all the details within this week,” Ricardo informed his manager, and the man nodded,

“Rest assured, sir, everything will be in order,” the man said, getting up and gathering the files he came with. Ricardo waved him off, and the man walked away. When he left, Ricardo went into deep thought just as the door opened, getting his attention, and Alana walked in nervously.

As weird as it was having his wife as a secretary, Ricardo had to say she was better and more accurate with work than anyone else.

“What can I do for you, Ms Mendoza?” Ricardo asked while leaning against the chair. He didn't remember calling for her. However, a nervous Alana cleared her throat awkwardly and stood across the desk.

“Well, Mr. Romero. “ She started, apart from calling him sir or any other title. Alana found it appropriate to call him Mr. Romero, that way it would be less awkward, 

“Go on?” Ricardo remarked more suspiciously, Alana nodded and placed some files on his desk
