Chapter 84. Protecting His Territory

Alana smiled helplessly as she read the note left in the shimmery box placed on the bed. It was so cheesy to read the words that for a second, she thought it wasn't Ricardo who wrote it.

“He's crazy,” she said in between laughter and picked up her phone. It was already past 5 hences she had to get ready, the runway show was starting at 6 pm until late.

(“Mr. Romero, thanks for the lovely gift…but I thought you would prefer seeing me when I wear it”) she sent a message to Ricardo. It felt strange to send text messages to Ricardo. But Alana decided to get ready while she waited for his reply.

“This will do, and this,” she said, and brought out some stilettos to go with the dress. It turned out the man had excellent taste, Alana scanned the black dress in front of her and felt even more relaxed. Anything Ricardo chose, she would wear. Even if it was the ugliest thing. As long as it made her feel close to him.

“Could he be busy?” She muttered questiona
