Briar’s POV
The three men were in the kitchen when we made our way downstairs, the twins flanking me like tiny bodyguards who refused to let me out of their sight. The scene that greeted us was so domestic it made my enhanced heart ache—Kai standing at the stove flipping pancakes with startling concentration, Kylan setting the table with careful precision, and Kieran attempting to wrangle what looked like an overly ambitious fruit salad.
All three looked up the moment we entered, and I watched relief flood their faces in waves.
"There’s our sleeping beauty," Kylan said, his voice warm but carrying an undertone of barely restrained worry. "How are you feeling?"
