Chapter 38. Can't Keep Doing This
“I hate it when you sweet talk,” I tell Kian after securing my seat belt. I don’t usually put it on but now that I’m pregnant, I’m not taking any chances.
“Why? I thought women like it when men speak sweetly to them.”
“I don’t like it. I would rather they say what’s on their mind as it is. You know, being blunt about things.”
