"Do you have a crush on me?" I decided to ask after watching the way he stared at me on the wall.

If anything, he looked at me differently, just like how someone will to their crush and I hadn't even waited to hear his answer to my question on the mountain which had prompted me to ask again.

"What if I liked you?" Matthew asks instead making me go speechless.

If there is anything he was good at it was ignoring questions to ask another question, and he would be the only person that I have ever stared at like now.

I found myself staring at him, wondering why I would even ask a guy if he had a crush on me. I just felt like I wanted to know as if knowing would help me avoid doing anything that might make me lose him.

And lose is the last word I want to let happen between us. I didn't want to lose him and I just needed to know more about him and whether he truly felt anything towards me just like how I might feel.
