Chapter 28. One Last Memory

Snow’s POV

It’s been eight days since Stefan has been missing. Eight days of sadness and grief on everyone’s faces. We never found a body. We didn’t find anything. The announcement was made two days ago, and yesterday, the burial rights were performed. Kol and Reece announced to the people that their Gamma was lost. It was sad news, but I’m sure the people will forget about it as fast as it was told to them.

The people most affected by this were the people closest to Stefan. Kol and Reece, in the midst of the sadness, have become closer, and Adeline has been spending an awful lot of time with me. She’s kind and an amazing person, but I can’t bring myself to open up to her. I can’t bring myself to feel anything.
