Chapter 29. Marked

Snow’s POV

After my little emotional display in my room, Reece came to get me to the throne room to perform the marking ceremony. Adeline gave me one last smile as she and Reece led me out of my room. As we enter the throne room, there are so many people just gazing at me as I walk toward Kol, and it is just now that I realize how humongous the throne room is because there are so many people in here.

Some musicians play a satisfying sound as Reece leads me toward Kol. My wolf is basically somersaulting inside me right now.

“Finally, finally, finally!” My wolf mind links me, chanting happily. At least one of us is enjoying this. The room is completely silent except for the faint sound of the calm music that is playing. Everyone is to stay completely silent while the marking takes place.

When Reece and Adeline reach close enough to the throne, they
