Chapter 27. Finding Proof

Stefan’s POV

Estella’s dad explained the prophecy to me, and I did not believe it at first, but it’s too much of a risk to ignore him. I haven’t been able to move properly ever since Estella’s father saved me. He performed some magic spell to appease my pain, but I have so many broken bones I’m surprised that I’m even still alive.

The current of the water that day was unbearable, and it flung my body side to side, and I hit every rock under the water in my path until I couldn’t control my body anymore.

The old man says I have to heal properly before making my way back to the castle, and he’s right. If I leave in the state I am now, I might run into rogues. But I have to warn my brothers about the prophecy, and most importantly, I have to let Snow know that I’m alive, and I want to apologize to her for going against her wish and challenge my brother anyways.
