Katherine’s POV

I haven’t had water in two days. The little water I was able to get was taken from me by some rogue wolves I met on the way. I asked them, no, I begged them to let me join their community. I wanted to be part of the rogues because, honestly, I had no choice. I had to be somewhere safe. These woods are scary, and Rogues will do anything to scavenge for whatever they can find.

I thought I was strong and I could fight them off, but apparently, they were stronger than I was. When I was banished, I left the castle with some resources that would have kept me fed and alive for at least a month. I lost them the minute I stepped foot in rogue territory.
