Snow’s POV

It’s hot today, too hot for my liking. Kol and I have been training together since morning, and we’re both sweating profusely as though we were roasting wild meat or forging the biggest sword ever to exist in an enclosed space. The heat is unbearable.

Kol was supposed to ride out to the other nations to warn them, but with a lot of persuasion from everyone, we decided to send them letters of warning instead. Hopefully, coming from the King in the North, it will be taken seriously by all the other Alphas. Of course, Kol excluded the part where Silas is a hundred years old and is a heretic half-witch and half-werewolf. He also purposefully omitted the part where Silas is working with a witch who killed his first mate. He provided the necessary information without revealing too much, but he made it serious enough that the other alphas would get scared and begin preparations to protect their home
