No one stopped us when we left the table. Not even a word, except Bryan who coughed suspiciously.
“Is there something you want to show me at your house Brad?” I asked.
We were in the hall, walking towards the exit. I noticed tall frames holding oil paintings of men and women. His relatives. Some of them were modern photos as the rows of portraits went on. I was about to ask about them when I was pinned to the wall in an instant.
“Do I really have to spell it out for you Gia?” He smirked, his face too close for innocence to mine.
