Alayana didn’t flinch like she used to when she was in her pack. She loathes the woman in front of her but she doesn’t want to make her hand dirt. “I did not kill Mac. You can check for him elsewhere”

Lance was surprised by her cool attitude. Inside when he saw her, he thought she wouldn’t even come out. But her braveness impressed him.

Her step mother sneered “Who will believe your words? I know you killed him. You…”

Just as she was about to curse again, Alayana bent down and looked at her seriously. Her aura was so strong that even Lance felt it. “Do you want to be killed as well?”

Once she saw fear in her step mother’s eyes she stood back “You and Mac have caused enough misery in my life. Now, I do not want to have anything with you. If you have a brain, don’t you dare come looking for me. Otherwise.” She looked up at the guards surrounding her step mother indicating they would kill her the next time she tried to brag in.
