“Really?!” She asked for confirmation not knowing if she could believe him or not. After all she had seen him feeling bad for Misty.
“Yes. Misty was my past. Don’t think I can’t let go of my past.”

I smelled disinfectants. When I tried to move my hand, it ached severely. I winced in pain and still closed my eyes. I felt too tired to open my eyes.
