Chapter 133. Help Me

Leilani's POV

Out of madness I would have intended to throw it against the wall but I restrained myself.

With a trembling hand, I called Luna's number again.

"What do you really need?" Luna raised her voice to me when she answered the call immediately.

My jaw tightened because she didn't seem to intend to believe everything I said. What’s in my mind is bursting because I’m sure Luke will have something to do with her too.

"Believe me, stay away from Luke." I tried to convince her.

"Who are you? Show yourself so I can find out if you're just bluffing me.” Her voice was full of doubt and I didn’t know enough words to make her believe.

Perhaps, if I say I was Luke’s wife, she would only disbelieve me even more. She might think I just want Luke to come back to me.

"I'll tell you who I am but you have to help me." I got up from the bed. I opened the window and looked for a way to get out.
