Chapter 155. Sorry

Third Person's POV

Luna could not explain how she felt when she saw Athen with a weak eye. The pain and numbness mixed in her heart. Unbeknownst to her, tears welled up in her eyes.

Her eyes also hurt because she was always crying. For Luna, all the sources from which she can draw strength are gone.

She took Athen by the hand and wiped her eyes. Athen's eyes could not be removed from her mommy's face because this was the first time she had seen her cry without hiding.

Because then, she had to catch up and secretly look at Luna just to know that she was sad or crying.

"Mommy." Athen thought it was her attitude that made her mommy act like this.

Luna went inside, holding Athen. Now that her daughter was here, she didn't have time to sulk, and she was afraid that her behavior would affect her.

When she sat up in bed, she grabbed Athen's arm and tried to hold her back. She could not imagine what Athen's reaction would be.
