Chapter 61. Children
Luna's POV
“Sister!” A child ran up to me just after we got out of the car. The chickens and people were noisy. The sun king peeked out. The child hugged me, and then the others followed.
We rested last night on the side road because it was already night. We spent a few hours and Adonis regained sleep first because we might get into an accident if he gets drowsy. After he finally took a nap, we left immediately. I just didn’t understand what he said about pregnancy. As I held my stomach, I wondered what it would be like if I was pregnant. Am I ready to accept the child if the murderer's blood is on him?
When I looked up at Adonis, I observed he was puzzled. When he speaks to others, he appears to know and familiar with them. The other kids hugged him as well. They are also laughing. This time, my gaze is riveted on the view of the school and the center. When I saw that, my worry was lifted. It's good, and they're working on it even without my help.
