His uncle is now staring at Adonis rather than at me. Every expression he gave was like a blade piercing to me and Adonis. I had no idea what they were talking about.
"I will dismiss you from your own firm if you are not committed to fulfilling your goals. If your parents were still living, I'm sure they'd be quite disappointed in you." Hernan pointed to Adonis using his finger, but Adonis remained silent. His uncle was pushing the wheelchair, and before he turned it, he looked at me as if he intended to spit on me. I, too, glanced at him, despite the fact that my palm shivered at his appearance.
When the door closed, I startled, but it felt like a thorn had been ripped out of my chest. I'm gazing at Adonis right now, and he's still staring towards the door, as if his uncle is still present.
