EVELYN'S P.O.V
When our eyes met and saw how serious he was when he said those words as if he just forgot the nervousness that he felt earlier when he faced me because it was replaced with worries and helplessness after seeing me defend the attack of that assassin.
I didn't know why but I suddenly felt uncomfortable around my heart. I faked my cough as I cleared my throat, averting my eyesight from him as I glanced toward Caleb who was behind them, acting like he didn't see anything between them.
Uhm... so embarrassing.
“Are you okay?” I asked out of worry.
Caleb smiled brightly at me as he nodded his head, not minding Angus's stares towards him, and answered. “Yes, I'm fine!”
I let out a sigh of relief then glanced at the other disciples who were on the mountain with them, then also glance at those masked-men, who were holding different kinds of weapons that could kill them as they tried to fight against those disciples to kill them.
