My eyes couldn't help but stare at her, especially looking at her expression carefully to determine if she was lying to me or not. After all, I'm already starting to get curious about where she got all of her information whether it was real or not, and besides, I was already starting to doubt her.

I need to open my eyes clearly to see if the people around me were lying to me or not.

Eve shrugged her shoulder and simply said, “I'm not lying.”
