EVELYN'S P.O.V

I don't know why I felt like I reached the word ‘enlightenment’, however suddenly my brows furrowed as I could feel like my ears are ringing.

I could hear distinct voices that are talking—more like it was a one-sided argument near me. My hand is weakly raised towards my temple and I started massaging it.

I bit my lower lip as I endured the discomfort that I felt in my legs. It fucking felt painful plus my head was slightly hurting and my ears m were ringing from the loud noises that I couldn't help but frown.

I first adjusted to the uncomfortable feeling on my legs that felt numb yet at the same time it was as if thousands of ants were stinging my legs to the point that I wanted to separate myself from these legs of mine but in the end, I endured it.
