My brows furrowed as I asked Phoenix with curiosity. “What was that?”

Phoenix darkened eyes filled with murderous intent, immediately softened.

“It was just an insect that couldn't be killed with a single pesticide,” Phoenix said with a smile on his face yet his eyes were filled with killing intent.

I could guess who were the insects that he was talking about. I let out a heavy sigh as I finished my food, then faced him.

“So, what are we going to do now? Marva and Patrick are on the way here to destroy us. It seemed that our guesses were true. Once they retain their memories back, they will strike while the iron is hot.” I said with a serious tone as I hugged him.

I'm afraid that once I face Marva and Patrick, I would recall all those painful emotions that I felt when they killed my child. The anger inside of me didn't subside just because I know that Amorous will come back to us.
