I'm nervous. Dad came home late yesterday and seemed happy and very calm, but I'm not sure how I should behave. I've never had to introduce myself to anyone before, most people introduce themselves to me.

I look at myself in the mirror one last time before I meet the others. Dad is wearing a shirt and trousers. We hurry to the cars and are driven to the house. Since the sun is still quite high in the sky, we don't walk.

Carl looks at me, we are all sitting in the same car. Dad is relaxed, but we guys are already worried. The driver is listening to music and I am sure he is new.

When we stop, the driver parks in the garage and the gate closes. We get out and then the door to the house opens and a woman in a frilly apron is drying her hands, "come in. I'm Tessa, Audrey's aunt." We all nod and shake her hand. She smiles and then we follow her up the stairs.
