"How was the ball yesterday?" That was Tiana's first question as soon as we reached her library.
I had to sigh because there was no good news. "It ended abruptly and was short-lived. There were problems with the lights."
As we sat down on the chair, she looked at me questioningly. It was to be expected that this explanation was not enough for her. So I told her: "The lights went out, which is why Aramis took me away immediately. It has since been established that it was a girl. She was found in the room where all the fuses are."
