The journey was torture because it seemed to take forever. Aramis drove us, although I had offered to drive as well. However, he didn't want to.

Being the princess in the passenger seat had its advantages. I had slept for a few hours and was able to rest in general.

No one had said anything for a while. This was mainly due to Aramis' bad mood. It was better to keep quiet. He didn't invite anyone to talk and at some point it got too hot for me too.

I stared out the side window and the endless snowy landscape passed by us. The weather indicated that we were driving ever further north.

At the moment there were only fields around us. You could see nothing but white. It was almost scary. Only the asphalt was a different color. Everything else was covered in snow.

Just looking at it made me feel cold. I crossed my arms and surrendered to the boring view.

I jumped in shock when Aramis broke our silence by asking, "Are you an
