The worst thing about an ongoing kidnapping case would be having to stay in the car to wait for things to happen. That was what Michelle had felt the moment Ethan finally entered the abandoned house and was reunited with their daughter.
"Come on. Leave that house now… Ethan," Michelle mumbled, her lips quivering, and her hands clasped together.
She was totally anxious. Why weren’t they coming out yet? Why weren’t the cops moving? Weren’t they supposed to raid the house now since Ethan had finally had their daughter in his arms?
