Chapter 40. Being Naughty

Brielle POV

Brielle couldn’t sleep.

Her mind was flooded with thoughts she couldn’t keep track of, just like the previous nights.

As she was tossing and turning for the umpteenth time, she began to recall her earlier conversation with Madeline.

Brielle couldn’t believe Madeline was now so close to Lady Delilah, and she couldn’t shake the feeling that the two of them were up to something sinister.

Something that kept making her stomach churn, and she despised the sensation.

“No, no!” She exclaimed loudly, turning around on her bed and furiously shaking her head.
