Logan’s POV

“Maddy, I need your help,” I said, trying to keep my voice calm. “Layla’s giving me the silent treatment, and I don’t know what to do. What can I do to make her forgive me?”

There was a pause on the other end of the line, and I could hear Maddy thinking. “Well,” she finally said, her voice cautious, “Layla’s stubborn, you know that. But... if you really want to make it right, just be patient. Let her come to you. She needs to feel like you’re not pushing her. She’ll talk when she’s ready.”

I nodded, even though she couldn’t see me. “Patience, huh? That’s easier said than done.”

“Well, that’s what you need to do, Logan,” Maddy said, sounding amused. “Give her space, but don’t give up on her. If you’re truly sorry, she’ll eventually soften. She’ll know you care.”

I sighed, rubbing the back of my neck. “Alright. I’ll give her space. Thanks, Maddy.”
