Dylano’s POV
“Are you sure this is the right move, Jerulo?” I asked, my voice low but steady as I scanned the maps laid out on the table in front of us.
The warehouse plan was scribbled across the pages, marking every exit and entrance, every hidden corner and dark alley.
Jerulo, sitting opposite me, didn’t look up as he adjusted his jacket sleeve. His face was hard to read, but I could sense the confidence radiating off of him like heat.
“Dylano, you’ve been asking me that question for hours now,” Jerulo said, a slight grin tugging at the corner of his lips. He finally met my gaze, his eyes cold but assuring. “Trust me. This is the right thing to do. Logan DeAngelo’s goods are ripe for the taking. We’ve been planning this for months. We do this, and we’re set for life. No more worrying about pennies, no more hiding from the law. Everything we want will be ours.”
