“I don’t know,” I said slowly. “Things are... complicated right now.”

“Come on, Isabella,” he said, his tone light but persuasive. “It’s just a casual meet-up. No pressure. I promise you’ll have a great time.”

I bit my lip, torn. Part of me wanted to say yes. Jaden was charming, and spending time with him would be a nice distraction from everything else. But another part of me knew it was risky…especially with Logan around.
