Logan’s POV

The older man had a serious expression on his face, as if he were waiting for something, or someone.

I couldn’t believe it.

“Isabella,” I said, my voice low, barely above a whisper. “Is that... Jaden?”

She froze, her eyes moving to the door. I saw the shock flash across her face as she tried to process what was happening.

She didn’t answer me right away, but I didn’t need her to. I could see it in her face…she knew exactly who they were.
