“I’m glad you’re asking,” I said smoothly, watching her every reaction. “This plan isn’t just about taking Logan’s wealth…it’s about being smart, precise, and leaving no trace. It’s about playing the long game.”

She arched an eyebrow, skepticism still evident. “You’re talking in riddles, Jaden. Be specific.”

I smirked. That was Isabella…direct, no-nonsense. It was one of the things I’d always admired about her, even when it made things more difficult.

“Alright,” I said, leaning forward, lowering my voice as though the walls had ears. “Here’s the idea. Logan trusts you, right? He sees you as someone loyal, someone he can count on.”
