Isabella’s POV

I nodded, though my mind was already racing with plans to deal with the situation. If Logan kept trying to contact Dani, it would only be a matter of time before he discovered the truth. 

I needed to act fast, but for now, I had to keep him calm.

“Let me know if there’s anything I can do to help,” I said, my tone warm and supportive. “You’re not alone in this, Logan. We’ll figure it out together.”

He gave me a small, tired smile. “Thanks, Isabella. I appreciate that.”

As I stood to leave, I could feel his eyes on me, and I wondered if he suspected anything. But when I glanced back, he was already looking at his phone, scrolling through his contacts.

I left the study and closed the door behind me, my heart pounding in my chest. The call from my men echoed in my mind, and I knew I was running out of time.
