Still, I kept quiet. I wasn’t about to ruin the moment with unnecessary questions.

Finally, after what felt like a long yet smooth ride, the car came to a slow, deliberate halt.

I looked up, my breath hitching slightly as I took in the sight before me.

An elegant restaurant stood tall before us, its grand entrance glowing under the soft golden lights that framed the doorway. 

Large windows revealed glimpses of the stunning interior…chandeliers hanging from the high ceilings, marble floors gleaming under the lights, and beautifully arranged tables that looked fit for royalty.

I barely had time to admire the full beauty of it before the chauffeur stepped out and walked over to my side, gently opening my door.

"Thank you," I murmured as I stepped out, smoothing the fabric of my dress.
