Logan's POV

I looked down at my hands, the hands that had built an empire, the hands that had protected those I loved... but they were empty now. I had nothing. No one.

Layla was alive, but she wasn’t mine anymore. She never would be. She belonged to someone else now. 

And Dani... I didn’t even know if he was alive. I’d sent him away with nothing, forcing him to disappear without a trace. I’d betrayed him, just like everyone else.

And Isabella... she was the one left standing beside me. But why did it feel like she was the reason they were all gone?

I let out a bitter laugh, the sound echoing off the cold walls. This was my life now. Torn between ghosts of the past and shadows of the present. I couldn’t trust anyone, not even myself.

My phone buzzed in my pocket, the screen lighting up with another message from the unknown number. My heart raced as I read the words:
