I waited anxiously in my chamber, looking towards the door, hoping that at any moment, Helion would appear before me. I had been that way for hours, unable to sleep, unable to concentrate on a book. I occasionally peeped outside my window to make sure everyone was still going about their activities safely. Sure enough, anytime I looked, everyone went about cluelessly.
He mentioned that he would be away for a whole day. It was barely nightfall yet and I could feel myself losing my mind. I couldn't do it, I couldn't be away from him that long. The feeling was likened to my heart being occasionally poked with needles.
I climbed off my bed and headed for my door when a figure came up before me. I halted in my tracks with a perplexed stare.
