She wakes up to find herself alone in the room. She had expected him to be in bed with her, but he was nowhere to be found.
He knows that she didn’t marry for love, but he should have stayed behind to comfort her. How is she going to face him in her embarrassing state? She was too inebriated to wait for him to emerge from the bathroom, so she slept until he did.
When she answers the door, she is surprised to see Vanessa standing there with a glass of water, looking at her with a serious face."I didn't ask you to bring me water," she adds, pointing to Vanessa, who is standing a few meters away.She says, "I just thought it’s best to have a glass after what transpired last night," and hands her the cup.
Thama gives her a nod and tells her to leave the room, but she refuses and stands as if she wants to say something to her. She can see the disgust on her face, but she doesn't say anything. She exits the room after handing her a piece of paper with Thelma's address wri
