Chapter 11
As Thama walks into the house, she hears one of the caregivers say, "I hear Miss Bell is coming over for supper."
"Really? I can’t wait to see her." Blessings, the youngest, screams.
She wanted to inquire so that she could adequately prepare herself, yet hearing a conversation in which she is not a participant is referred to as "gossiping."
No one in the house has mentioned Miss Bell before; she needed to know if she was an important figure in the Luciano household.
But she was interested in knowing the person. By looking at how excited the caregivers were, she could tell that she was someone important who was looking forward to meeting them.
She goes upstairs to change into something more casual, so she may go to the location Tobias showed her.
The backyard garden is the most peaceful place in the Luciano villa; there is no disturbance, and it gives her peace of mind and makes her forget everything that is happening to her.
