Chapter 71

Andra returned to my room a short while after. I had dismissed Vixen by the time she had returned so was able to give her my full attention upon her return. I noticed her expression was strained as she walked into my room.

“Is everything okay?” I asked her.

Andra looked at me and nodded. “Yes,” she sighed. “Master agreed to let the three of you go out in the city on an impromptu shopping trip.”

“Yes!” I cheered.

“I have set up a security detail for the three of you, but master has requested that I not be your main guard,” she revealed. “He is concerned that someone would recognize me as one of his staff and give away your connection to him.”

“That is understandable,” I told her. “I am sure you will have no problem picking someone else to tend to us while we are out,” I smiled.

“I have already chosen the three staff that will be at your side. That was why it took me so long to return. I had to make sure they were available,” she explained. “I picke
